Tapestry is a web-based search service that allows users to search land records and index information. This service has a $6.95 fee per search ($8.75 per search, effective September 1, 2023) and is ideal for one-time or casual searching. Copies of images have the standard $1.00 per page fee. Laredo
Laredo is a downloadable program that allows users to search land records for a monthly fee. This service is ideal for regular or professional searching. Click here to download a Laredo User Agreement and return to the Alger County Register of Deeds office or email cdecet@algercounty.gov to set up an account.

Click here to sign up for Property Fraud Alert (PFA), a free online automated service in which property owners can sign up to have their name monitored to track possible fraudulent activity.
Signing up with Property Fraud Alert (PFA) takes a few moments and participants will be notified via email or phone, or both, only when the exact name they have provided is listed on a records document. You can sign up with multiple names.
