- Advisory Weather - Hanley Field is equipped with a SayWeather weather system that provides unofficial, advisory reports for wind, temp, dew point, pressure, and density altitude. This system can be accessed by keying your mic on CTAF, 3 times for an abbreviated report and 5 times for a full report, much like pilot-controlled lighting.  Detailed weather station information is available at https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KMIWETMO16.

- Tie-Downs - The ramp currently has over 10 parking spots with tie-down anchors. These spots are not equipped with ropes, so please plan to bring your own as needed.

- Courtesy car - The courtesy car is an AWD Subaru Outback and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Call 906-202-0818 or 906-202-9383 to check availability. Keys and vehicle log are located inside the pilot lounge. Please return the car full of fuel after use.

- Pilot lounge - The pilot lounge is air-conditioned and heated, with TV, Wi-Fi, seating, microwave, refrigerator, and full bathroom with shower available for pilot use. Outside there are also picnic tables, fire rings, propane grill, gas cans, and a garden hose available for use. For the code to the pilot lounge door, please call 906-202-0818 or 906-202-9383.

- Under-Wing Camping - Under-wing camping is allowed on the field. The Pilot Park area located slightly northeast of the departure end of runway 36 offers a fire ring and picnic table with a more private, rustic area than near the airport building.

- Hangars - New as of 2025, there are leasable lots available with flexible lease options for individuals to construct personal hangars. If you are interested in a lot lease for hangar construction, please contact 906-202-0818 or 906-202-9383 for information.

- Ultralight Aircraft - Hanley Field welcomes all ultralight aircraft traffic, to include powered parachutes, paramotors, and ultralight trikes. When flying an ultralight aircraft at Hanley Field, please follow all typical left-hand traffic patterns and altitudes when operating near the field. Also, if your aircraft is equipped with a parachute wing, please remain considerate of other aircraft and fold/pack your chute off of the runway to allow other traffic to land or take off. Likewise, if you are hauling your aircraft or gear with a trailer or vehicle, please ensure it is parked at minimum 50’ from the runway edge. There is also a roughly 100’ wide area east of the runway that is mowed where you are free to conduct these activities.
